The Secure Immigration Alliance supports the swift confirmation of Senator Markwayne Mullin to lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Following a successful March 19 vote in the Senate Homeland Security Committee, we hope the nomination will move in front of the full Senate quickly.

At a time of ongoing challenges at the border and within the immigration system, DHS requires steady leadership and clear direction. In this position, Senator Mullin will have the opportunity to usher in a new, targeted phase of immigration enforcement.
